Now that the sun has finally decided to show, a few things immediately seems to happen to the people in the UK; we try desparately to spend as much time as possible in the sun for fear that the sun won't come out again, the summer wardrobe can finally come out from the cobwebs, the beer gardens and parks are full of people drinking and eating together, people forget that the sun is actually quite strong and end up pretty shades of 'red'. Most importantly, people are so much happier! It's all good; while it lasts.
Over the years I kind of forgot that McDonalds did ice-cream. It's not really advertised that much, I guess that it's never quite the weather for ice-cream. Anyways, it was quite hot the other day and mum and I decided that we wanted ice-cream as we wondered around the shopping mall in Milton Keynes. We happened to pass by McDonalds and thought, why not? It has been years since I tasted McDonalds ice-cream, and it hasn't changed one bit- it's still as amazing.
I remember back to my childhood days when my parents would buy us this ice-cream. I'm not sure why, but my memories always seem to take me back to Hong Kong. May be because we didn't really go to McDonalds here in the UK, but it was so convinient in HK, and it was always hot! I recollect a time when they were doing lots of different flavours and you could get a half-and-half mix cone. Mmmmmm......
I really hope that the good weather stays....we need more happy people in London!
