Halwa

Now, this something that is pretty new to me. It's definately not like anything that I've really eaten before. I think that you can just eat it as a sweet snack.  This recipe uses flour, but you can also use semolina for a coarser texture.

RECIPE for HALWA

STEP 1: Boil some water and pour into a bowl or pan. Add some cardamon powder and sugar and stir until dissolved.

STEP 2: Heat some oil in a pan. Add self-raising flour and mix well. Cook over a low heat.

STEP 3: Add the sugar cardamon water mixture to the flour. Stir to blend together.

For a special touch, you can add some saffron soaked in water

STEP 4: Keep on cooking and mixing until smooth.

Allow to cool and serve!!
